Minutes - Subgroup Meeting - August 22, 1996
This is short summary of what we discussed with Labnetwork representatives
at a dinner meeting on 22 Aug. 1996, Faculty Club, UCB. Present were
D. Boning (MIT), M. McIlrath (MIT), P. Losleben (Stanford), C. Spanos (UCB),
and K. Voros (UCB).

Labnetwork Poster

There will be room for a Labnetwork poster in the space allotted for
Stanford. (PL)
- Cristina Gordy, MIT SRC program administrator will be coordinating the
Labnetwork poster assembly. (DB)
Poster material should be emailed to gordy@goesser.mit.edu
- Items for poster presentation were listed, for a total of 12-14 pages.
Duane has the full list, for which most of the material is on-line.

- First page will be the Labnetwork Mission Statement.
- We will ask V. Diadiuk and M. Schmidt for a couple of pages on the
6" wafer size discussion, KV to follow up.
- T. Lohman and B. Murray has material for the LabnetSoftware project,
KV to follow up.
- MM and DB will follow up on items on the list.
- S. Wong, organizer of the 8 June 1996 Labnetwork meeting (at SFO)
will send meeting minutes. (Some of the material is needed for the poster.)
LabnetSoftware White Paper
- Together we reviewed draft of white paper. (Rev.1. written/revised by
KV, PL, BM)
- Discussed rewrite for more effective presentation.
- Duane and Mike will write Rev.2, which they will send out by next Wed.
(28 Aug.) Paul will make final review considering all inputs.
(Paul will be on vacation from 30 Aug. to 17 Sept.
Costas will be out of the country all September.)
- After agreement on the final version Paul will send it to selected
industry contacts for comment.
