The Georgia Tech MiRC considering disposal of a Cambridge Instruments MR
102 MOCVD system with 4 inch diameter chamber, manufactured about 1986.
The organometallic sources that were used in this system are: Diisopropyl
Telluride,Diethyl Zinc,Dimethyl Cadmium, Trimethyl Bismuth and Trimethyl
Lead. The floor space required is on the order of 160 sqft. This system is
no longer supported by the original manufacturer, and is at present non
functional. If any US university, or other US lab could make use of this
system, GT could make this attractive. The recipient would be responsible
for all handling and transportation from the GT dock .The recipient must
also demonstrate full awareness of the safety issues associated with the
transport and subsequent use of the equipment. If interested please respond
by 2/4/97. Thanks, Jerry
