QVR offers a power supply intended for retrofit in ion implanters.
QVR power supply Model 1000WCC/600WCV is designed for 5V @ 200 Amps
filament power and 148V @ 4 Amps arc voltage supply.

Several implanters have been retrofitted with QVR power supply having
Freeman type ion source and some have been upgraded with a power supply
and a Bernas type ion source. The Bernas setup increases machine run
time and saves money on consumable.
