Seeking burn box information

I am working for Pacific Solar, an Australian R&D company (joint venture
between The University of New South Wales and Pacific Power) for thin film
solar cells. I am seeking information from other users of Guardian 4 burn
boxes (manufactured by ECOSYS, previously MG Industries).

We are experiencing problems with build up of particulate waste matter in
our system, which requires a fortnightly shutdown of the Guardian for
cleaning. Of even more concern is that the build-up occurs UPSTREAM of the
manifold that houses the natural gas flame, instead of downstream in the
exhaust line.

This problem is experienced, despite maintaining appropriate exhaust suction
through the instrument.

We are interest to find out if other Guardian users are experiencing
particulate build-up at the same rate and in the same location as we do.

Any comments or suggestions on how to solve this problem would be very much
appreciated.

Regards

Andreas Stephens
