helpful as possible, I'd like to make a quick suggestion (as your
friendly mailing list administrator).

posted a question, be sure to copy the mailing list as well.
This way our archive (which is available via the web at
http://www-mtl.mit.edu/labnetwork/labnetwork.html) becomes a wonderful
repository of knowledge and everyone benefits from the accumulation of
problems/solutions.
Thanks to all who have already been doing this, and to everyone
for keeping labnetwork a useful resource for those involved in
research lab facilities issues!
