Dear Sir or Madam
I am contacting you as I am interested in discussing the current state of
technology with reference to a project I am considering at present, I beleive
that a Micromachine for the purpose of physical inhibition of Predatory
insects, human parasites(malaria, bilharzia, etc.) and fungii would be of
considerable benefit to the Agricultural industry and farmers worldwide.
I have had discussions with Dr Blunt at the University of Huddersfield in the
UK who has done some interesting work with microcircuits and Dr Blanchard at
the University of Wisconsin who has an interesting potential minaturised power
source but I think we lack some elements for a viable project.
Main problem areas seem to be communications and sensors, I would be most
interested to hear of anyone who would be interested in eventually working as
part of a team to develop a larger prototype (probably bee sized),matters are
very preliminary at the moment and we would just be interested in discussing
it with interested parties.
There has been some discussion about bioscience interfaces with machine
systems providing some radical solutions , so any lateral thinking from other
fields is always welcome.
If anyone would like to discuss this idea, I would be most happy to discuss it
with them from any field of research.I await your reply with interest,
Yours faithfully
