I would like to inform the labnetwork community that the Berkeley
Microlab has a new Faculty Director, Prof. Tsu-Jae King, effective
1 August 2000.
After seven and a half years of outstanding dedication and service
Prof. Costas Spanos passed the torch to a new generation of leadership.
We thank Prof. Spanos for his excellent leadership and welcome
the new Director.
Prof. King, with her research in advanced devices and experience in
semiconductor manufacturing, is ideally positioned to guide the Microlab
further along and address the challenges that will emerge in the
coming years.
