Duties: Supervise an E-beam lithography laboratory and an optical
step-and-repeat exposure tool. Develops and documents optical and E-beam
lithography processes, user training, tool operation and maintenance, and
vendor liaison. Provides complex engineering advice and guidance to
faculty, graduate students, post docs, and staff researchers from a wide
range of disciplines, including solid-state electrical engineering,
physics, and materials science.
Minimum Requirements: At least five years of hands-on experience with
E-beam and optical lithography and a a thorough understanding of
solid-state physics. Lithography process development for the fabrication
of unique devices including, but not limited to: optoelectronics (lasers
and detectors), HBTs, MESFETS, MEMS, etc. Ability to assist a wide range
of nanofab users of various disciplines, including physics, solid state
electrical engineering, and materials science. BS degree or equivalent
education and experience.
