Job Description
The Nanofabrication Center is seeking applications for the position of
Research Fellow in the area of nanofabrication. This is a full-time,
annually renewable position. The position duties involve 1) develop
fabrication processes using micro and nanotechnology techniques such as
conventional photolithography, physical vapor deposition, etching, as well
as nanotechniques such as electron beam lithography and soft
lithography; 2) train and support graduate students and other users on the
use of several pieces of processing equipment, especially the operation our
Raith 150 electron beam lithography system; 3) Participate in the design,
implementation and evaluation of nanotechnology research projects.
Essential Qualifications
Education: Masters degree in an area related to nanotechnology
Experience:
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with electron beam lithography, especially system
operation, process development, resist characterization, and integration
with other micro- and nano-fabrication steps, such as metal lift-off processes.
· Experience with standard microfabrication techniques such as
photolithography, physical vapor deposition, wet and dry etching.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently.
· Excellent verbal communications skills.
· Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and interface
well with people who possess a broad range of skill levels.
