Panelist Instructions:

  1. e-mail a paragraph position statement (100 words) related to the topic of the panel to tedequi@mit.edu NO LATER THAN September 15th, 2008. Also send a brief biography and photograph. The photograph should be at least 1800 pixels wide.

Presenter Instructions:

  1. e-mail a paragraph ABSTRACT (150 words) of your talk to tedequi@mit.edu  NO LATER THAN August 15th, 2008. Also send a brief biography and photograph. The photograph should be at least 1800 pixels wide.
  2. e-mail final power point or pdf of your presentation to tedequi@mit.edu  NO LATER THAN December 1st.  
    1. File name format is: “Presenter Last name.ppt or .pdf”. The document will be posted on a password protected MTL web-site for workshop attendees and MTL industrial consortium members.
    2. Please allow 5 minutes for Q&A (a 25 minute presentation should allocate 20 minutes for the presentation and 5 mins of Q&A)
    3. There is no set template for presentations
    4. There will be no handout given at the workshop. The PDF will posted right after the workshop on a password protected website.

Poster Submission Instructions:

  1. e-mail a 1/2 PAGE TECHNICAL ABSTRACT of your poster to tedequi@mit.edu  NO LATER THAN October 31st.
    1. File name format is: “Poster Presenter Last name.doc” The document will be included in the handout for the event.
    2. Please click here for the technical abstract template .
  2. PRINT OUT your poster and either carry it with you or mail it as specified below.  Posters should be standard size (3’ x 4’) and must be printed prior to arrival. We will not print posters at MIT.

    Please include your Presentation/Poster # and presenter name on all emails & shipments!

    The posters will be presented in one session during lunch (on December 5th). Please bring your poster to the Grier Room (34-401) directly upon arrival. We will ask you to put up your posters during Session 2 of the presentations. You will be asked to collect your posters prior to departing.
