Brian Brandt received the B.S.E.E. degree from Purdue University in 1985, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 1986 and 1991, respectively. He then worked for Texas Instruments, IBM, a successful start-up company, and National Semiconductor in analog and mixed-signal design and design management roles. He joined Maxim Integrated Products in 2000 as a Director of Design and lead product development teams focused on high-speed analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion. He also lead the development of RF products for communications infrastructure and for ultrasound imaging. Presently, he serves as Maxim's on-site representative to MIT's Medical Electronics Device Realization Center. He is a member of Maxim's Office of the CTO, with an emphasis on university research and relationships.

Dr. Brandt currently serves on the ISSCC Technical Program Committee. He holds 8 patents and has published 15 papers, one of which received the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits Best Paper Award and another that received the ISSCC Beatrice Winner Award.
