PhD student Wenjie Lu received the Best Student Paper Award at the 2017 Compound Semiconductor Week (CSW) in Berlin, Germany, on May 14-18, 2017. His presentation was titled "Sub-20 nm Fin-width InGaSb p-channel FinFETs". This research was performed under the supervision of Professor Jesus del Alamo in MTL. Wenjie's devices have been fabricated in the facilities of the Microsystems Technology Laboratories (MTL) and the Electron Beam Lithography (EBL) facility at MIT. Wenjie's research is supported by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Lam Research, Samsung Electronics and the Korean Institute of Science and Technology.
