In 2015, MIT launched the MIT-Tecnológico de Monterrey Nanotechnology Program, a collaboration with one of Latin America’s largest universities. The goal of this program is to bring students and faculty from Mexico to Cambridge for fellowships, internships, and research stays at MIT labs and centers. Given its initial focus on the frontier of nano-science and nanotechnology, MTL plays a core role within the program and currently houses it. On July 19th, program members met with MTL students, staff and faculty for a day of discussion and collaboration.
