Founded in 1987 and located in Taiwan's "Silicon Valley”, the Hsin-Chu
Science-Based Industrial Park, TSMC is the world's first and largest
dedicated integrated circuit foundry. TSMC provides advanced IC
manufacturing services to a wide range of customers, the list of which
represents the Who’s Who of the semiconductor industry. TSMC is a publicly
held company listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) since September
1994, and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) since 1997.

TSMC achieved sales of US$ 8.23 billion in 2005 and currently employs over
20,000 people worldwide, with offices in Taiwan, North America, Europe,
Japan and China. TSMC consistently provides the industry's most advanced
technologies, including 90nm and 65nm logic processes. In addition, the
company offers the broadest ranges of IC manufacturing processes, including
CMOS logic, mixed-signal, volatile and non-volatile memory, embedded
memory, silicon germanium and BiCMOS. TSMC continues to lead the market
and outperform its competitors by steadily increasing its capital spending
and R&D investments. For seven consecutive years, TSMC was voted as the
Best Managed Company in Taiwan. In addition, TSMC has been honored with
the Best Employer in Asia Award, and the 2002 IEEE Corporate Innovation
Award.

TSMC’s vision is to be the most advanced and largest foundry services
provider to customers and, in partnership with them, forge a powerful
competitive force in the semiconductor industry. We are inviting the
brightest minds to share in our vision of blazing the proven path to
success in the semiconductor industry. If semiconductors excite you and
you’re interested in joining one of the industry’s most successful
companies, please attend TSMC Day. Student interview sessions are
scheduled from 4:00-6:15 PM.
