"Once there was only narrowband radio
It uses lots of power and goes kind of slow
Along came UWB With speed and positioning for free
And soon it will control the dataflow

If you come to our poster, I trust you will find
Our group's research will truly blow your mind
A discrete RF prototype that has two horn antennae
And a digital backend implemented in an FPGA
With this flexible platform we were able to show
Wireless transmission of Nathan's dancing video
From this experience knowledge we did take
And a custom chipset we did make
With built-in pulse shaping sidebands keep away
Also, it has a WLAN notch filter and an unmatched LNA
Two parallel SAR ADCs deserve some looks
And a baseband processor that reconfigures with many hooks
Throughout our research we have made much progress
To put these chips together at 100Megabps
Now we ask, if it's not too bold
Whether we the baseband can operate in the subthreshold
In the future our challenge will be
A new transceiver running off the power of a small battery
And while I do not want to be a big boaster
To learn more you must come see our awesome poster."
