Figure 2: A highly ordered square-array of PFS posts from a PI-PS-PFS triblock terpolymer blended with 18% homopolymer PS on neutral substrates. (a) The PFS square arrays were highly aligned along the HSQ sidewalls coated with PFS brush, which prefer selective wetting with PFS domain, while the PEO brush-coated Si substrate formed neutral condition for three domains and formed highly ordered square arrays of PFS posts. (b) The locations of the PFS microdomains also can be templated using HSQ dot posts. The posts are attractive to the PFS block, while the flat substrate is coated with a PEO brush.
