Dan Congreve is a PhD candidate in Marc Baldo's laboratory in the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He obtained his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University, studying defect states in amorphous and nano-crystalline silicon, before joining MIT. His research interests focus on novel applications of excitonic spin engineering, including downconversion, upconversion, and charge-transfer state modulation.
