Dear All,
Thank you for all of your rapid responses and suggestions for our low budget
room monitoring requirement. We have already chosen a method that should
suit our needs just fine. The Omega iTXH-D3 Virtual Chart Recorder is the
solution we will try. http://www.omega.com/pptst/ITHX-D3.html
This unit sends data over Ethernet with embedded software that looks easy
enough to use. We can mount it in the chase, plug in a power supply and
Ethernet cable with only the probe running into the room. Omega also offers
a unit with local display for a little more cost but we decided that it may
just cause unnecessary hand wringing by users if the room conditions move
around even within spec.
Again, the labnetwork has proven a very useful tool!
Cheers,
Mark Heiden
