We use a similar apron, but it has full arm coverage, too. Additional PPE, aside from safety glasses and nitrile gloves, include a face shield and heavy duty chemical resistant gloves when handling these types of chemicals.

Cheers!

Subject: [labnetwork] Hot Phosphoric PPE

Does anyone have any recommendations on PPE for processing using hot phosphoric acid?

This is the apron that we are currently using: https://www.grainger.com/product/ANSELL-Chemical-Resistant-Bib-Apron-5EMD0<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.grainger.com_product_ANSELL-2DChemical-2DResistant-2DBib-2DApron-2D5EMD0&d=DwMFaQ&c=OAG1LQNACBDguGvBeNj18Swhr9TMTjS-x4O_KuapPgY&r=l9C3cuOkWyGd6C0ye_FDTBHMFl4lPXPJztVHQPL_Bao&m=d8gTOXzqu08GKDgSFq-QI-hL9O2VGLBylVo_MvgKhnU&s=Gx0tVyszJJH_TgVPsITBxN8Hc2rPZwb-9X2-dqiJRYQ&e=>
