[labnetwork] COVID-19 Plans?

Hi All,

We are doing a similar thing at the University of Houston, see attached. I also try to educate the students because they need to take this problem seriously. At UH, faculties are given “guidance” for the outbreak response. I expect most will choose productivity over safety.

Best,
Long

Were going to do a similar approach at u of Louisville. Staggered schedules with a skeleton crew.

The university just extended spring break a week and went to online classes until April 5th.

Cheers!

Hi Sandrine,

At Penn, if our administration asks that we make accommodations for staff to support operations, we’re going to split the into two teams that don’t overlap:

Team A will work M-W-F week 1 and T-Th on week 2 - and so on...

Team B will work T-Th on week 1 and M-W-F on week 2 - and so on...

Some equipment will be slower to repair, but we’ll hopefully minimize the chance of cross-contaminating each other ;-)

Best,
Noah
