Dear All,
I am based in Italy. I am in the Naples, which is in the South, so not
affected severely so far.
I want to make sure that no-one is underestimating the seriousness of
the corona virus situation.
I just got off the phone with my accountant.Last week, his client , who
owns a business, went to see a lawyer as he needed to pay him 1000
Euro.He had a short meeting with the lawyer and paid him.The lawyer
fell ill and he died of the virus on Monday. My accountant's client died
yesterday, and so did the guy's wife.My accountant was informed by his
client's son, who is the only family member left alive at this point,
who is undergoing 14 days isolation due to he had been with his
parents. The client was 54 ears old and his wife was of similar age.
So, I sincerely hope everyone is taking this situation seriously
enough.
