[labnetwork] Hi-Star X-Ray Area Detector

Dear Colleagues,

The LSU Nanofab recently acquired a Bruker D8 Discover diffractometer with a Siemens Hi-Star area detector from the DOE equipment donation program. The area detector is filled with a propriety xenon gas mixture that needs to be refilled periodically. Unfortunately, Bruker is no longer offering this service. 

Do any of you have experience with the Hi-Star area detector and know what Xe gas blend and pressure it requires?
