Hello Rick,

We have two Süss MA6 mask aligners. One dates back to 1999, while the other one is from 2014. They are both very reliable tools and suit a multi-user environment well, since they are very easy to use and difficult to break.
We are generally quite satisfied with the service we receive from Süss. Of course, one cannot expect 24 hours response time if one does not have a service contract, but they can usually send a field service engineer within 1-2 weeks. It is, however, quite seldom that we request their presence. Most problems are small enough to be dealt with by our staff. Queries by e-mail are usually responded to within 1-2 days.

HI,

This group was very helpful when Draper purchased a DRIE tool last year. I would like to tap your collective opinions on a new topic Mask Aligners.

We have narrowed our search down to Suss vs Neutronix/Quintel. I am looking for feedback on spare parts and out of warranty service. Process wish the tools are very similar.
