Hello Jun Li,

Last November I experienced the same issues on one of the 620’s at MIT
until the PC finally would not boot up.

I found the issue to be several burst capacitors on the PC motherboard.

By replacing the motherboard (with a similar, slightly better one) the tool
was back up and running for a total cost of $200 dollars. No machine
hardware needed to be changed or modified.

I know that this solution isn’t something that EVG would ever suggest, or
even investigate, but It worked out really well for our lab. (And our
budget)

Feel free to contact me if you’d like further details.

All the best,
Dave Terry
