[labnetwork] Gas Cabinet Service Providers

We have SDC CiphercoN 1500 gas cabinets.  They are only 4 years old, so we have not had any issues or service calls.  SDC was willing to come out and show us how to change toxic gas cylinders for $8K.  They would not do the work, but showed us what to do and we made our own video for documentation.  Another vendor wanted $27K to change 6 cylinders, so now we are self-sufficient.  We had a good experience with SDC.

SDC in Saugerties NY. They may have a worked with Prax/Linde on cabinets

Hello All,

Does anyone know of any third-party vendors who will provide maintenance service to Praxair made (now owned by Linde) gas cabinets? Our efforts to obtain service or parts through Linde have been disappointing to say the least.

Alternatively, who would you consider in terms of new gas cabinets that you feel has a reliable reputation for service?
